Mikayla is a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in both acute care and preventative health. A graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Mikayla began her career in healthcare as a cardiac nurse, where she developed a strong foundation in patient care.

She then advanced her expertise by working several years as a critical care and trauma nurse in both a Level II trauma center and a critical access hospital in her hometown of Gardnerville, NV. Through her experience in emergency medicine, Mikayla recognized the critical gap in preventative care and its impact on long-term health outcomes. Motivated by this realization, she furthered her education and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Reno, specializing in Family Medicine.


Mikayla is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and adopts a holistic approach to patient care, emphasizing prevention and overall wellness. Dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care, Mikayla addresses the whole person by blending conventional and alternative treatments to optimize health and well-being. Through this approach, she strives to improve health outcomes and foster long-term wellness for those in her care.
