More About Christina
She began her practice in general pediatrics at Shelter Island Pediatrics in San Diego and then at Kaiser Permanente Fontana before moving north to Susanville, California, in 2002 with her husband, Richard, a family practice physician, and their young daughter.
When her second daughter was born in 2003, she prioritized her role as a mom, practicing part-time at Lassen Indian Health Clinic and then in private pediatric practice from 2007 until 2016, when she contracted with the Banner Health Clinic in Susanville until 2021.
Over the past decade, she has developed an increasing interest in mental health care and holistic wellness, pursuing continuing education in mental health care through the REACH Institute (Resource for Advancing Children’s Mental Health), as well as in functional pediatrics through the Institute for Functional Medicine and the Medical Academy for Pediatrics with Special Needs. She is excited to be part of the Alpine Wellness team, bringing her expertise to the children of Northern Nevada.
